Welcome Wombat was the first title in this photo-packed, nonfiction chapter book series for elementary-aged readers which explores the stories and science behind animal sanctuaries.
From the author, Kama Einhorn, when she previewed the design: "I LOVE so many things about this book design: the color palette, the soft pattern backgrounds, the Aboriginal-style border choices (I see endless border possibilities for each book, the amorphous photo frames, and the typefaces, color coding of pics and captions. WOW, JUST WOW!"
Carling Design was hired to design and layout all six books in the series.
